Columbus Softball Takes Two of Three in Lincoln

Columbus High’s softball squad went 2-1 in a tournament Saturday at Lincoln.
The Discoverers fell to North Platte 7-3, but bounced back to hammer Elkhorn North 13-3 and then built an 8-1 lead on Waverly after four innings before holding on for an 8-6 victory. CHS is now 2-6.
The Discoverers will host Lincoln High tomorrow night at Gerrard Park.
