Columbus Police Investigating Stabbing

COLUMBUS- On Tuesday at 5:21am, the Columbus Police Department responded to the area of 7 St. and 30 Ave to a report of stabbing.
When officers arrived they had contact with a 38-year-old female who had been stabbed in the leg. The victim was able to identify the suspect, who had left the scene. Officers located the 36-year-old suspect walking in the area of the incident and he was taken into custody. The female victim was transported to Columbus Community Hospital where she is being treated for her injuries.
At this time the incident is under investigation and there is no further danger to the public.
