Columbus, Lakeview Senior Legion Teams in Action Tomorrow

Columbus’ Senior Legion baseball team opens play tomorrow in the state tournament, while Lakeview’s seniors will be in action at an area tourney. 

Cornerstone will take on Lincoln Northeast in the first round of the Senior Legion Class A National Division tournament.  Saturday’s first pitch is set for 7 p.m. 

Meanwhile, in the B5 senior area tourney, top-seeded Bank of the Valley has a first-round bye today.  Lakeview’s first game in Pierce is set for tomorrow at 7 p.m. against the winner of tonight’s 7 p.m. contest between Albion and Pierce.
