Columbus Cornerstone Seniors Defeated at Elkhorn
The Columbus Cornerstone Seniors were downed 10-2 in five innings at Elkhorn last night.
The Antlers scored the game’s first six runs through three innings. Columbus scored twice in the top of the fourth, with the runs driven in by Quenton Gustafson and third baseman Grant Zoucha.
Gustafson started the game on the mound, allowing six runs, five earned, on five hits over three innings. He did not issue a walk and struck out two, taking the loss as Cornerstone slipped to 6-6.
The Seniors are off until next Tuesday when they host Grand Island at 7:30 p.m. on Fan Appreciation Night.
