Columbus Boys Win South Sioux City Track Invite

The Columbus High boys won yesterday’s South Sioux City track invite, while the Discoverers girls finished fourth out of nine teams.
On the boys side, Caleb Mulder won the 100, 200 and 400 meter dashes. Santos Gonzalez and Carsen Marking also earned gold medals in the discus and pole vault, respectively. CHS relay teams also won the 4X100 and 4×800 meters.
In girls’ action, Josie Garrett placed first in the 100 meter hurdles and Alexa Matulka was champion in the pole vault.
