Columbus Boys, Girls Soccer Clubs Both Win Tuesday

The Columbus boys soccer team won its season opener by posting a 2-1 victory at Grand Island last night.
The Discoverers, who had their first two matches postponed by bad weather last week, are scheduled to host Lincoln High tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Columbus girls soccer club won its home opener yesterday, beating rival Norfolk 2-0. The win evened the Discoverers record at 1-1.
The CHS girls are slated to play a makeup match against Lincoln Northeast on Thursday.
