Columbus Baseball Club Blanked at Elkhorn

After being postponed by inclement weather Monday, the Columbus High baseball team’s bats stayed cold at Elkhorn last night.  The Discoverers suffered their second consecutive shutout, falling 7-0.

Columbus managed just two hits, while the Antlers scored the only run they would need in the first inning.  Elkhorn put the game on ice with six runs in the bottom of the fifth.  CHS is now 10-10.

The Discoverers will travel to Fremont on Friday to meet Archbishop Bergan.
