Columbus American Legion Baseball Teams Split in Lincoln

The Cornerstone Insurance Group Columbus Seniors suffered a 4-1 loss to Lincoln Northeast last night. 

Each team managed just one hit in the game at Sherman Field.  Columbus had a 1-0 lead entering the bottom of the sixth inning, when Northeast rallied to score four runs.  The loss dropped Cornerstone to 12-6 on the season. 

In the first game, the One United Federal Credit Union Junior Blues won 7-6.  They improved to 5-15 on the year.
