College World Series Weekend Recap, Monday’s Games

In Sunday’s action at the College World Series, Tennessee took control of Bracket 1 with a 6-1 win over North Carolina last night.

The Volunteers are 2-0 in Omaha as they try to become the first No. 1 national seed since 1999 to win the championship.  The Vols will advance to the best-of-three finals if they can beat Florida State or North Carolina again on Wednesday.

Today at 1 p.m., NC State meets Florida in an elimination game, then at 6 p.m. Kentucky faces Texas A&M with the winner jumping into the driver’s seat in Bracket 2.
