College Volleyball Weekend Wrapup

In college volleyball, second-ranked Nebraska moved to 7-0 with a 25-16, 25-22, 25-14 sweep of Long Beach State Saturday night at the Devaney Sports Center. 

That’s where the Huskers will take on No. 11 Stanford tomorrow at 7 p.m., with the pregame starting at 6:30 on News Talk 900 KJSK. 

Also on Saturday, 17th-ranked Creighton rallied for a 3-2 victory over crosstown rival Omaha at Baxter Arena.  CU is 7-2. 

CCC went 0-4 at a tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  On Friday, the Raiders fell to McHenry CC 3-0 and lost to host Kirkwood 3-1.  Central suffered a pair of 3-1 losses on Saturday against Heartland CC and Illinois Central College.  CCC is 6-12.
