Coleridge Man Dead After Being Trapped In Grain Bin

HARTINGTON- A man has died after being trapped in a grain bin.

On Tuesday at around 2:50 p.m. Cedar County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a person trapped in a grain bin five miles east and one mile south of Hartington. Responding agencies worked to locate the victim identified as 60-year-old Kelly Burbach of Coleridge. Burbach was extricated from the grain bin and pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

Burbach was an employee of Hansen Farms of Coleridge.
