Class C Junior Legion Area Tournament Results Monday

In Class C of the Junior Legion area tournaments, Albion will take on Hartington in the C-1 championship at Creighton this evening. 

Albion is 2-1 in the tourney and needs two wins over 3-0 Hartington to advance to state. 

In the C-2 area event in Dodge last night, Wisner-Dodge downed David City 15-0 in five innings in an elimination game.  The home team needs to defeat 3-0 Pender twice tonight to claim the area title. 

And in the C-5 tourney at Silver Creek, Palmer-Wohlbach-Greeley beat Hebron 10-4 Monday night.  PWG, which is the No. 4 seed, improved to 3-1 in the tournament but needs to knock off top-seeded and unbeaten St. Paul twice tonight to make state.
