Class B and C Junior Legion State Tournament Scores

Central City went 2-0 over the weekend in the Class B Junior Legion state tournament in Valley. 

On Saturday, Central City blanked Lincoln Christian 8-0 in five innings.  The Juniors topped Crete 7-4 on Sunday.  Central City is set to face West Point, also 2-0, at 7 p.m. tonight. 

In the Class C Junior state tourney at Hartington on Saturday, St. Paul was edged by Pender 8-7 and Albion bowed to Loomis 8-3.  St. Paul cruised to a 12-0 victory over Albion yesterday in an elimination game.  St. Paul is playing Tecumseh in another elimination contest today.
