City Parks and Rec Using Public Input on Gerrard Park

The City of Columbus Parks and Recreation department has been listening to public feedback recently regarding plans for updates to Gerrard Park.

Using funds from existing sales tax, the department will replace the park’s weathered tennis courts.  After an online public survey in March, the City learned people were also interested in room for pickleball and basketball.  So, Parks and Rec is now working on potential layouts on how to maximize Gerrard Park to construct as many new tennis courts as possible while also providing other recreation opportunities there.

Once the new potential layouts are done, the City says they’ll be shared with the public for more input.
