All six city basketball teams lost in Columbus last night. 

At Columbus High, the Discoverers boys fell to Lincoln Northeast 68-49.  Blake Thompson and Sam Kwapnioski each scored 14 points in the loss that dropped the Discoverers to 0-6.  The CHS girls were downed by the Rockets 41-21, slipping to 1-5. 

At Lakeview, the Vikings boys bowed to Clarkson/Leigh 42-33.  Cooper Tessendorf led Lakeview with 10 points.  The Patriots improved to 3-4, while the Vikings slid to 1-6.  The Lakeview girls were defeated 48-28.  Clarkson/Leigh, ranked number 2 in Class C2 by the Omaha World-Herald, stayed unbeaten at 8-0, while the Lady Vikes fell to 4-3. 

At the Dowd Activity Center, the Scotus boys lost to Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family 55-47.  The Bulldogs, ranked number 1 in D1 are now 5-2 while the Shamrocks are 2-5.  And the Scotus girls fell 45-36.  H/LHF, number 3 in D1 improved to 7-1 while the Scotus girls dropped to 4-3.
