Columbus High’s wrestling team won the Bennington Invitational on Saturday.  The Discoverers tallied 180.5 points to finish 9.5 points ahead of Bennington. 

Aquinas scored 160 points to earn third place in the ten-team event.

Three CHS grapplers won their weight class, including Clay Cerny at 126 pounds, Tanner Kobza at 138 and Kasten Grape at 195. 

The Monarchs also had a trio of wrestlers finish first: Hunter Vandenberg at 120 pounds, Cameron Schrad at 145 and Ben Kment at 170.
