CHS Volleyball Hosts Triangular Tonight on KLIR 101

The Columbus High volleyball team is 1-3 entering a triangular at home tonight.  The Discoverers welcome 2-0 Lincoln Pius X and Grand Island, which is 0-1. 

CHS dropped its home opener to Fremont last Thursday, then went 1-2 at Saturday’s Norfolk Invitational. 

Asked what her club is doing well early on this season, Coach Jeri Otten said” “I’d say offensively, even looking at this last weekend, we’ve been doing a better job just getting kills, keeping the ball in play when we need to.”       

Otten added the Discoverers’ defense has been doing a better job lately, especially in last Saturday’s match with Kearney against “some really tough hitters.”
