CHS Volleyball Bows to Kearney, Other Results

In the A-6 district volleyball semifinal aired last night on KLIR 101, Columbus High fell in four sets to Kearney. 

The Bearcats defeated the Discoverers at Lincoln Southwest 25-16, 20-25, 26-24, 25-15.  Jaleigh Adams-Tuls led CHS with 12 kills and four blocks.  Columbus finished with a 10-18 record. 

Other area volleyball teams advancing to district finals with wins last night included Howells-Dodge, Fullerton, Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family, High Plains Community, Nebraska Christian and Humphrey St. Francis. 

Schuyler and Cross County lost in subdistrict finals.
