CHS Swim Teams Split vs. Lincoln Pius X

Columbus High’s swimming team hosted a dual against Lincoln Pius X yesterday.  The CHS boys won 92-69, while the Discoverers girls lost 109-60.

Boys captain Jayven Krepel won the 100 yard backstroke while earning a new secondary time for state. 

Emily Miksch won the girls 100 yard breaststroke. She also anchored the 400 yard freestyle relay team that finished second, but dropped nine seconds from their seed time and earned a state cut. 

Columbus High will compete at the GNAC meet this Saturday in Hastings.
