The Columbus High softball team has had to make several changes to its schedule due to COVID-19 issues. A source has said one player was exposed to the coronavirus.
The Discoverers varsity team did not compete in last Saturday’s Norfolk Invite, although the JV team played a doubleheader against the Panthers.
Today, Columbus was supposed to have played a triangular in Lincoln. But, those games against Lincoln Pius X and Northeast have been moved to September 22nd.
Thursday’s home doubleheader against Lincoln East has been pushed back to September 28th.
And the Discoverers home triangular this Saturday against Beatrice and Norfolk is now slated for a week from Saturday.
