CHS Softball Goes 1-1 in Conference Tournament

Columbus High went 1-1 at Saturday’s Heartland Athletic Conference softball tournament in Kearney.
The Discoverers downed Lincoln Northeast 14-8, but fell to Grand Island 13-1.
CHS is now 6-24 and will see the Islanders again today. The two clubs will meet in a doubleheader at Columbus High. First pitch of the opening game is set for 5 p.m.
