CHS Soccer Splits at Norfolk, Hosts Fremont Today

Maddie Uhlig’s unassisted goal in the 60th minute broke a scoreless tie and the Columbus High girls soccer team was able to grind out a 2-0 win at rival Norfolk. 

Addi Kudron iced it in the 73rd minute with a goal that was assisted by Madison Jenny.  The Discoverers have won three straight matches to improve to 3-1. 

In the boys match, CHS was edged by the Panthers 1-0, dropping the Discoverers’ record to 1-2. 

Both Columbus clubs host Fremont today.  Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. at Wilderness Park.
