CHS Soccer Clubs Both Win 1-0 in District Semifinals

Both Columbus High soccer teams posted 1-0 victories in district semifinal matches on Saturday.
The Discoverers boys edged Omaha Burke, while the girls got by Omaha Central on a very windy day at CHS. The Columbus boys are 11-5 and will meet top-seeded and 11-3 Lincoln Southwest tomorrow at 7 p.m. The Discoverers girls are 11-4 and will take on No. 1 seed and 12-2 Lincoln East at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Both matches will be held at Seacrest Field in Lincoln.
