CHS Girls Soccer Braves Elements, Loses Season Opener

Wintry weather caused most local spring sports teams to postpone the start of their seasons from last Thursday through Saturday. However, Columbus High’s girls soccer team was able to play Friday in Lincoln.
The Discoverers dropped a 2-0 decision to Lincoln Southwest at Seacrest Field.
The girls home match against Lincoln Northeast scheduled for Saturday was postponed, as were two Columbus boys soccer matches.
