Columbus High announced this weekend that the general public attendance for the Discoverers’ football and volleyball games will be limited to four tickets per family of participants.  Besides players’ families, that includes families of band, cheer and diamond dancers.  Today, CHS marketing director Nicole Anderson added the school will also allow a limited number of students to attend football and volleyball contests.

Her news release said the “precautionary steps are being taken to ensure the safety of all involved.”  It notes the current DHM restricts outdoor events to 75 percent capacity and indoor events to 50 percent capacity.

Fans for all events are being asked to take their temperature at home prior to the event.  They are also required to wear a mask at all times and sign a waiver.  And CHS asks them to bring the exact change – $6 for adults and $4 for students.

Spectators for softball and boys tennis are asked to bring their own chair since there will be no bleacher seating.  Girls golf fans will be restricted to the starting tee.
