CHS Clubs Win Openers in GNAC Basketball Tourney

Both Discoverers basketball teams won their opening games in the GNAC Tournament at Columbus High School. 

In girls’ action yesterday evening, the Discoverers downed McCook 47-36. Afterwards in the boys’ tourney, Columbus edged North Platte 62-59. 

In today’s semifinals, the CHS girls will take a 3-5 record into their 5:30 p.m. game against Scottsbluff. The Discoverers boys, now 4-3, will face Hastings at 7:15 p.m.
