CHS Boys Fall at Omaha North, Girls Win at Home

The Columbus High boys basketball team lost at Omaha North, while the Discoverers girls picked up their first win of the season against the Vikings at CHS last night. 

Sam Kwapnioski led the Columbus boys with nine points, all coming in the fourth quarter of their 65-38 loss.  The Discoverers fell to 0-3. 

Meantime, the Columbus High girls cruised to a 54-23 victory to improve to 1-2.  Carly Gaedeke and Elena Batenhorst each scored eleven points for the Discoverers. 

Both CHS teams are off until next Friday, when they host North Platte.
