CHS Boys Basketball Gets First Win in Almost a Year

The Columbus High boy’s basketball team posted its first win in nearly a year on Saturday.  Playing their home opener, the Discoverers shellacked South Sioux City 92-67.

It was the first victory for CHS since last December 11th.  Now 1-1, Columbus will head to western Nebraska this weekend for games at Alliance on Friday and Gering on Saturday.

Meantime, the Discoverers girls fell to 0-2 after losing to the Cardinals 58-45 on Saturday. 

The CHS girls host York tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.
