The Columbus High bowling teams opened their season yesterday at Westbrook Lanes with a double-dual against Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family and Lexington.
The Discoverers boys beat the Bulldogs 19-2 and then topped Lex 18-3. In the second win, Gavin Unger recorded the boys high game of the day at 276 and high series score of 453.
The Columbus girls fell to H/LHF 17-4, but defeated Lexington 12-7. Emma Moore had the high scores of the day for CHS against the Bulldogs, with a 181 game and a 321 series.
