CHS Bowling Opens Season With Double Dual

Columbus High bowling opened its season yesterday by hosting a double dual at Westbrook Lanes. 

The Discoverers boys defeated Lexington 13-8 and downed Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family 20-1.  Ryland Prokopec of CHS rolled the day’s high series of 454 and the high game of 246 against Lex. 

The Columbus girls fell to Lexington 18-3 and were edged by the Bulldogs 11.5 to 9.5. 

The Howells-Dodge boys beat H/LHF 18-3, but fell to the Minutemen 13-8.  The Jaguars girls lost to the Bulldogs 17-4 and bowed to Lexington 18-3.
