CHS Bowling Competes in Lincoln Pius X Tourney

Columbus High bowling competed Monday in the Lincoln Pius X Holiday Tournament, which had been postponed by snow last Tuesday. 

The Discoverers boys went 1-2 in the qualifying rounds to finish sixth out of 14 teams.  CHS lost to Fremont and Pius, but defeated Millard West. 

Andrew Beck rolled the high series at 570.  In the Baker results, Columbus lost to Grand Island Northwest. 

The Discoverers girls also went 1-2 in the qualifying rounds, with a loss to Lexington, followed by a win over Millard South, then another loss to Fremont.  CHS qualified 10th out of 13 clubs. 

Madison Henderson had the high series for Columbus at 459.  In the Baker round, the Discoverers fell to Papillion-La Vista.
