Following the Nebraska football team’s practice yesterday, Husker defensive coordinator Eric Chinander talked about Saturday’s opponent, Northwestern.

He was asked about the changes in the Wildcats’ offense under a new coordinator.  “I think it is a little bit of a different running game,” Chinander said. “Even though they are still going to be in some spread, they are implementing more use of tight ends.”  Chinander said the Wildcats’ passing game is similar to the past, but with some different routes.

Northwestern enters Saturday’s contest 2-0, while the Huskers are 0-1.  Kickoff is set for 11 a.m.  The pre-game starts at 6 on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 10:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
