Chinander Says Purdue Has “Real Quarterbacks”

Nebraska defensive coordinator Erik Chinander met with reporters following yesterday’s practice as the Huskers prepare to host Purdue on Saturday.

The Boilermakers have gone through a bit of a quarterback controversy this season and have used three different signal-callers.  But Chinander called them “real quarterbacks and they can run the whole offense so we can’t just put 11 guys up in the box and defend the run.”

Saturday’s kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.  The pregame show starts at 10:30 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 2 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
