Chinander Praises Huskers’ Older Players for Leadership

Following the fourth day of the Nebraska football team’s fall camp yesterday, defensive coordinator Erik Chinander said the Huskers’ older players are providing a lot of leadership.

“I think those freshman are getting a little baptism by fire right now and they don’t know any other way.  They know those old guys do things right.  They know those old guys demand them to do things right,” Chinander said.

The Huskers will take their first day off of fall camp today before returning to the practice field tomorrow.
