Chinander: Huskers’ Pass Rush “Much Improved”
Following the 14th fall practice yesterday, Nebraska defensive coordinator Erik Chinander met with the media. He said the Huskers will probably start preparing specifically for their first opponent, Illinois by late this week.
Chinander talked about the development of NU’s pass rush. “The pass rush in camp has been much improved,” Chinander said. “Is it where we want it to be? No. We still have a ways to go but it has been much improved from last year.”
Nebraska opens its season in Champaign a week from Saturday. It’s a noon kickoff, with the pre-game starting at 8 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK. It will be joined at 11:30 a.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
