Nebraska defensive coordinator Erik Chinander says his unit’s problem was very clear in last Saturday’s loss to Indiana – the Blackshirts couldn’t get off the field on third down.

Chinander was asked yesterday why that has become such a big issue.  “That game it was a little bit of everything,” Chinander said. “There were sometimes where we didn’t get a very good pass rush when we were rushing four.  Sometimes we had some coverage errors, some alignment errors.”  He also said the mistakes were made by “a lot of guys.”

Nebraska visits Purdue this Saturday.  Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. The pre-game starts at 6 on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 10:30 on KLIR 101.
