The Nebraska football team is a 26-point underdog for Saturday’s season opener at Ohio State.  The Buckeyes are ranked number 5 in the nation and are the defending Big Ten champions.

Huskers defensive coordinator Erik Chinander says Ohio State’s offense has “really good personnel,” adding that the Buckeyes could have some “wrinkles” in their scheme.  “This game means the world to us, I’m sure it means the world to Ohio State,” Chinander said.  “They are going to open their playbook and give us the wrinkles they worked on in the offseason and we need to be ready to match those when they come out.”

Kickoff at the Horseshoe Saturday is set for 11 a.m.  The pre-game starts at 6 on News Talk 900 KJSK. It will be joined at 10:30 a.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
