Chinander: Defense Needs to Eliminate Explosive Plays

Nebraska defensive coordinator Erik Chinander says the next step for his unit is to eliminate their opponent’s explosive plays, as well as cause more turnovers and get more sacks.
The Huskers will visit Minnesota on Saturday. The Gophers rank second in the Big Ten in time of possession, so Chinander says NU’s defense needs to minimize what they gain on first and second down.
Saturday’s kickoff is set for 11 a.m. The pregame starts at 7 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK. It will be joined at 10:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
