Central City/Fullerton/Centura Loses State Baseball Opener

Central City/Fullerton/Centura was downed by Beatrice 8-1 on Saturday in the opening round of the Class B state baseball tournament.
The loss sent the team into the losers’ bracket, where it will take on top-seeded Norris today. The Titans were upset by Waverly 5-4 Saturday at Werner Park.
Today’s game has a 10 a.m. first pitch at UNO’s Tal Anderson Field.
