The Scotus boys basketball team suffered a 74-35 loss at Boys Town Monday night in the first round of the Centennial Conference tournament.
The Shamrocks, who were seeded 10th and facing the No. 7 seed Cowboys, lost their fourth straight game to slip to 6-8.
In the girls tourney, seventh-seeded Scotus romped over No. 10 seed Omaha Concordia 62-19 at the Dowd Activity Center. The Shamrocks’ fourth straight win upped their record to 11-5.
Scotus will visit No. 2 seed Lincoln Christian in tonight’s girls quarterfinals.
The eighth-seeded Aquinas girls fell to Lincoln Lutheran 46-38 Monday night, while the No. 5 seed Monarchs boys will visit Archbishop Bergan tonight.
