CCC Women’s Hoops Records Two Weekend Wins

The CCC women’s basketball squad won twice this weekend. The Raiders followed up a 79-58 home victory over the Doane JV Friday with a 66-59 win at Hesston College on Saturday.
On Friday, Julia Jurek had 22 points and six rebounds, while Madisen Jelinek added 12 points and nine boards. Jelinek also just missed a double-double on Saturday with 10 points and nine rebounds, while Amy Mitchell led Central with 14 points and three steals.
CCC is now 5-1 and will play Friday and Saturday in a tournament at Marshalltown, Iowa.
