CCC Women’s Basketball Team Falls in Lid-Lifter

The CCC women’s basketball team dropped its season opener last night. The Raiders fell to the Hastings College JV, 67-55 in Hastings.
Central was shorthanded as only five players made the trip. Madisen Jelinek led CCC with 26 points.
Central will host the Bank of the Valley Classic this weekend at Raider Fieldhouse. The Raiders will battle Midland University JV Friday at 7 p.m. On Saturday at 2 p.m., CCC will play Des Moines Area CC.
