CCC Softball Team Wins Region IX Championship

The CCC softball club won the Region IX championship this weekend.
On Saturday, the Raiders beat North Platte CC 3-1. On Sunday, Central fell to Southeast CC 3-1, but then defeated the Storm 9-5 to take the title.
CCC is 17-27 going into its district tourney matchup against Des Moines Area CC this weekend. The Bears are 48-3 and are ranked No. 1 in NJCAA Division II softball.
