CCC Soccer Teams Both Notch Wins Over Southeast CC

In soccer, the CCC men got by Southeast CC 2-1 in overtime. 

Charlie Orsler kicked the game-winning goal eight minutes into the extra period.  The match was scoreless until the 85th minute when the Storm scored the first goal.  Four minutes later, Central’s Max Devine knotted the game at 1-all when he found the back of the net.  The win evened the Raiders’ record at 5-5. 

The CCC women’s team recorded its first-ever win over Southeast, winning 2-1 with no OT needed.  The Raiders were down 1-0 at halftime, but Steph Adby scored the tying goal and Hali Eddy scored with 12 minutes left in regulation. Central is now 4-4-1. 

Both CCC clubs travel to Kansas to face Pratt CC on Saturday.
