The CCC men’s soccer team has signed a high school star from Utah.  The Raiders announced today they have signed Rafael Silverio.

A native of Brazil, Silverio is a 2020 graduate of Layton Christian Academy.  As a junior in 2019, he helped lead the Eagles to the Utah Class 2A Championship.

In that season, Silverio scored 26 goals and had 12 assists to earn state MVP and first-team all-state honors. He was also nominated for the Gatorade Player of the Year Award in Utah.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he only played in five games this year as a senior but still managed to score 15 goals and record six assists.
