No. 2 Stanford and No. 5 Texas A&M are the highest national seeds remaining in the NCAA baseball tournament heading into the College World Series. 

Stanford staved off elimination five times to earn a second straight trip to Omaha.  Texas A&M is among four Southeastern Conference teams in the eight-team CWS.  The others are Arkansas, Auburn and Ole Miss. 

In Friday’s opening games, A&M will meet Oklahoma and Notre Dame will face Texas.  On Saturday, Stanford takes on Arkansas, followed by Ole Miss against Auburn.
