As the Nebraska football team gets ready to host Minnesota on Saturday, some folks are wondering if the Huskers can handle success.

NU is coming off a 37-27 win at Purdue last Saturday.  But, just a few weeks ago, Nebraska defeated Penn State in a game, only to be upset by Illinois the following Saturday.

Coach Scott Frost was asked about that yesterday.  “I’ve really seen our habits and a lot of things around the building get better the last couple weeks,” Frost said. “Coming off a win you have to double down on that and do even more of it – make sure you’re focused, focus is good, your practice habits are good, your effort is good and I expect our guys to respond well this week.”

The Huskers are 2-4 coming into Saturday’s game.  The Gophers are 2-3, but have had their last two games canceled due to COVID-19 issues in the program.

Kickoff is set for 11 a.m.  Pre-game coverage starts at 6 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 10:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
