Butler Bombs Away to Beat Bluejays

Three-pointers on five straight possessions in the second half helped Butler men’s basketball pull away for a 72-55 win over Creighton last night.
The loss in Indianapolis dropped the Bluejays to 12-6 overall and 4-3 in the Big East. The Bulldogs sank 10 three-pointers, while the Jays shot 2-for-22 from beyond the arc.
CU will host number 21 Xavier Saturday at 1 p.m. It’s the annual Creighton vs. Cancer Pink Out game, which has raised more than $330,000 over the past 11 years. The contest will be televised nationally on FS1.
