Busch: Huskers Need to Wake Up Fast, Slow Down Ibrahim

Nebraska defensive coordinator Bill Busch led off his meeting with reporters yesterday by saying the Huskers have had two really good days of practice this week.

Nebraska will host Minnesota Saturday morning, as Busch noted saying the team has to “be able to wake up fast.”  He says the Gophers will be looking to run the football.

“They are extremely gifted up front, their O-line,” Busch said. “They have one of the most elite backs I’ve ever had to coach against in Mo Ibrahim.”

Saturday’s kickoff is at 11 a.m.  The pregame starts at 7 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 10:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
