Busch: Buschini is No. 1 Punter, Bleekrode Top Kicker

Nebraska’s No. 1 punter and kicker right now were added to the Huskers’ roster via the transfer portal. 

Bill Busch, NU’s special teams coordinator, said on Sports Nightly Monday on News Talk 900 KJSK that Brian Buschini is the top punter and Timmy Bleekrode is the No. 1 kicker. 

Busch says with kicking, “the number one thing is accuracy – period”  Bleekrode fits that bill, as he made all nine of his field goal attempts from inside the 40-yard line last season with Furman.
